Fred Ciaschi is one of the founders of our firm and the senior member of our tax department. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in Rochester, where he spent several years before returning to his hometown of Ithaca to practice public accounting. In addition to his client responsibilities in our Ithaca office, Fred oversees our office in Watkins Glen.

Fred provides a full range of tax and accounting services to individuals, corporations, partnerships, and estates and trusts. In addition to tax planning and return preparation, he has helped corporate clients plan for reorganizations and liquidations, and represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service. He is experienced in the taxation of foreign individuals and corporations, including the branch profits tax and the tax on excess interest. Fred's clients include manufacturers, retail establishments, restaurants, medical practices, petroleum distributors and farmers.
