D. Leslie Spurgin, CPA
D. Leslie Spurgin, CPA, is an Audit Partner with Ciaschi, Dietershagen, Little, Mickelson, & Company, LLP. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University, joined CDLM in 1997, and became a partner in 2006. She has 11 years of experience involving governmental and not-for-profit audit engagements and was the GASB 34 project manager for the firm. She is involved in several professional organizations, including the AICPA, the NYSSCPA, and the Government Finance Officers’ Association, and is currently a member of the Government Accounting and Auditing Committee and the Public Schools Committee of the NYSSCPA. She is a frequent presenter at regional workshops of the Association of School Business Officials, as well as at various other professional organizations in the governmental area. She is an active community volunteer, graduating from Leadership Tompkins in 1999 and Leadership Tioga in 2000. She is currently a member of the Finance Committee and past Treasurer for the Community School of Music & Arts and a member of the Leadership Tompkins Advisory Board.
