Tom VanDerzee, is also a member of our tax department. In addition to individual and corporate tax planning and compliance, he has a special interest in estate and gift tax planning, including planning for business succession and transfer of wealth. Tom is also our firm's tax expert in pension and employee benefit plans.

Tom's clients include professional practices, real estate partnerships, retail establishments and sole proprietors. He has had significant experience in representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service.

Tom has earned the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. He is currently pursuing an additional designation, that of Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning.
